Amrita Sahasrabudhe is an experienced executive leader in both the corporate as well as non-profit world. With over 18 years of experience, Amrita brings a diversified perspective due to her background in varied industries. Amrita has been a passionate marketer and strategist in healthcare, retail, travel & hospitality, media, manufacturing as well as consulting.

As Senior Vice President of Marketing for FastMed Urgent Care, Amrita built a unique patient experience and a differentiating brand to create the nation’s leading retail healthcare provider. She led the COVID taskforce enabling nimble and inclusive decisions during a pivotal time for the company and industry. Amrita also played a critical role with an acquisition that doubled the size of the company.

Prior to FastMed, Amrita was recruited to PetSmart where she overhauled the social media strategy and connected the dots with customer service in order to provide a customer experience that drove loyalty for the brand. She mentored interns during her time there and even ignited the optimal use of social channels for recruiting.

At Aramark is where Amrita grew as a leader. Beyond her marketing role, she led and rebuilt the customer feedback system successfully impacting many areas of operation using influence without authority.

Amrita’s expertise has been tapped as a speaker at many digital media and marketing conferences. She has also mentored students in several capacities over time.

On the non-profit side, Amrita’s passion lies in animal welfare and has been an active volunteer at animal shelters in each city she has lived in the US. Since 2016, she has been serving on the Board of Directors at Arizona Animal Welfare League, including having held the Chair as well as other positions on the Executive Committee for a few years.

Amrita is also on the Digital and Innovation Advisory Council for St Jude Children’s Cancer Research Hospital. She has been serving as a council member since 2018.

Amrita earned her MBA from Arizona State University. She has a BA in Psychology (Honors) from St Xavier’s College, University of Mumbai, India. She also has a post graduate degree in Advertising & Communications Management from Narsee Monjee Institute of  Management Studies in Mumbai, India.

A few things that are part of Amrita’s daily life are a strong physical and mental health regimen. Amrita has been a student of meditation for as long as she can remember, starting with her aunt leading meditation sessions during her childhood summers spent in South India. Amrita has learned Transcendental Meditation, and today practices mindful meditation daily. Amrita is also currently undergoing the 200-hour Yoga Teachers’ Training course.
